Mandag 15. mars presenterete forskning- og høyere utdanningsminister Henrik Asheim en stortingsmelding om arbeidslivsrelevans for høyere utdanning hvor han bemerket spessielt Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge, USN, for Industrimasterprogrammet. Industry Master Program

 

17 bedrifter ønsker å ansette master studenter i Computer Science

 

Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge har i Industrimaster programmet for "Master of Science in Computer Science" ved campus Kongsberg 17 bedrifter som ønsker å ansette et tyvetalls studenter i 50% stilling samtidig som studentene tar master studiet. Studiet går over 3 år hvor kursene i studiet gjennomføres i de 2 første årene. Master oppgaven gjennomføres siste året. Studiet er lagt opp slik at studentene er lite avhengig av Kongsberg som studiested. Derimot er det en fordel at studentene bor i nærheten av bedriftens arbeidsplass.
